NATIONAL TRENDS & SERVICES

The vision of the National Trends and Services (NTS) facet is to eliminate disparities by reducing barriers to services through advocacy, education, and service. With a mission focused on empowering local communities, our goals include increasing the number of sustainable and measurable programs; increasing collaborative partnerships; and extending our existing initiatives to include communities identified as having the greatest need.

Azalea City (GA) Umbrella Program Covenant House of Champions
Since 2015, Azalea City has partnered with Covenant House of Georgia (CHGA) to provide comprehensive programming for CHGA residents. CHGA provides shelter and services to homeless runaway youth and is one of the largest privately funded non-profits in the Americas. NTS is the lead facet for Covenant House of Champions and works closely with the other Azalea City facets to plan, coordinate and implement relevant and transformative programs for CHGA residents including:

●      Food and clothing drives
●      Social justice seminars
●      College and career readiness sessions
●      Health and wellness workshops and panel discussions
●      Economic and financial literacy education
